Debate Grows Over Executive Power as Critics Accuse Trump of Bypassing Congress

In this year of America’s 250th anniversary, there is a hotly contested controversy surrounding President Donald Trump’s overindulgence in his presidential powers during the middle of his second term. The protesters, with slogans like “No Kings,” believe that President Trump has overused his powers beyond the constitutional limit by bypassing the Congress and waging a war on Iran, carrying out a secret military operation in Venezuela, and using the Department of Justice against his enemies.
